I bought it 4 weeks ago but it was on vacation for 2. Its a toshiba satellite a665 s6070 and has been freezing every since i bouoght it. I payed for geek squad to open it first and install protection and clean it up of unecessary things. I have also found eveidence of plenty of other people with the same laptop with the same problem

Does laptops these days only have a trial windows 7 installed?yesterday i bought the samsung r580 at futureshop and the lady told that i should buy the package windows 7 because the windows 7 installed in the samsung r580 is only a 2month trial period? is that correct? but should newly bought laptop alrady have the installed windows 7 permanent and not a trial?I bought the laptop at Futureshop in metrotown. I dont know i misunderstood her or she was the one who made a mistake i definitely heard that she said the OS of this laptop is only a 2month trial period. or maybe i'm guessing what she meant was the Microsoft office is the 2month trial period. I will go back tomorrow and clear the misunderstanding but if what she said is true than i'll refund my laptop samsung r580 . I don't need to buy a Windows 7 while their are other laptops that has them permanently installed.
